A Cedar City community
Living in Cross Hollow.
New three-bedroom townhomes on Cody Drive, in the Cross Hollow Road corridor on Cedar City's south end, less than two miles from the Providence Center shopping and a short run to the Cross Hollow Road interchange on I-15. Attached homes from a local builder, with the garage and the finishes already done.
I am Scott Buehler, a Southern Utah resident of 20-plus years and a licensed REALTOR and lender. Townhomes price on their own comps, not the acreage community that shares the Cross Hollow name, so this page keeps the product, the location, and the documents straight before we talk numbers.

Current listings
Townhomes for sale in Cross Hollow.
No active listings today. One small development on Cody Drive is the entire market here, and a narrow footprint like that goes quiet between owner moves even when the rest of Cedar City is busy. The next entry the MLS records will surface on this page at once. Prefer to hunt on your own? Open the map search or start from the homepage.
Buying here
Be first in line when one lists.
Cody Drive townhomes share a name with a completely different acreage community, so every alert I pass along gets verified as the attached product first; that check is baked into my Iron County MLS routine. If roughly 1,800 square feet with a two-car garage near the Providence Center is your target, the next verified unit reaches you straight away.

Life at Cross Hollow
Townhome living on the south side.
Townhomes at Cross Hollow sits on Cody Drive, in the corridor that carries the Cross Hollow name on Cedar City's south end. The draw is a newer, lower-maintenance build with the Providence Center shopping and the Cross Hollow Road interchange on I-15 both close enough to fold into a normal day. The garage is attached, the yard to keep is small, and the errands you used to plan around are a couple of minutes away.
It shares a name with the Cross Hollow Arenas event center down the road and, confusingly, with Cross Hollow Hills, a much larger acreage community on the opposite side of town near Westview Drive. Those two are not the same place and not the same product, so I never let a search for one turn up results from the other.
What you are weighing here is square footage and a private lot against convenience, a newer build, and a shorter list of things to maintain. The rest of this page is the honest version of what that looks like and what to read before you sign.
South-end highlights
The south end has its own logic.
Six things make this corner of town its own place: a shopping cluster minutes away, a direct freeway interchange, a named trail with real views, an event center that puts the city's rodeos and horse shows nearby, a builder who knows the product, and a name that needs a careful read before you compare it to anything else.
Providence Center, under 2 miles
The Walmart Supercenter, Home Depot, Walgreens, and the dining cluster along Providence Center Drive handle most south-side errands without a trip across town.
A direct interchange, I-15 Exit 57
The Cross Hollow Road diverging diamond interchange puts the south end on I-15 in a few minutes, with Business Loop I-15 and SR-14 both running from it toward downtown.
The Old Sorrel / Cross Hollow Trail
A city-built, 0.8-mile trail with a genuine view over the valley starts at the Cross Hollow Arenas parking lot or the nearby detention basin, a short drive from the townhomes.
Cross Hollow Arenas, a short drive
The city's 30-acre event center, home to the indoor Diamond Z Arena and outdoor Iron Rangers Arena, runs rodeos, horse shows, and the Cedar Livestock Festival through the year.
A local builder, one product
Wilcock Real Estate builds and sells the whole run, so plans, finishes, and pricing come from one desk instead of a patchwork of individual owners.
One name, two different places
Cross Hollow labels both these townhomes and the unrelated Cross Hollow Hills acreage community across town, so I confirm which one a search actually means.
Townhome details
Newer three-bedroom units, finishes done.
These are newer townhomes on Cody Drive built by Wilcock Real Estate, a local team with an office on West Highway 56. The standard layout is three bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and a 2-car garage, running from about 1,776 to 1,810 square feet, with nine-foot ceilings on the main and second floors.
Finishes run to quartz counters, luxury vinyl plank flooring, a walk-in closet, and dual vanity sinks in the primary suite, with a full kitchen appliance set. Recent resale activity has landed in the $300,000s for a completed unit, but the specific plan, orientation, and what is included move that number, so I confirm the exact unit before pricing it.
A townhome prices on the unit and the documents, not on the acreage community that happens to share its name.
Trails & outdoors
A city trail with a real view.
The rare local amenity here is a short drive, not a long one. Here is the honest tiering, from the trail at the arenas to the seasonal high country.
Old Sorrel / Cross Hollow Trail, ~2 min
A city-built, 0.8-mile trail reached from the Cross Hollow Arenas parking lot or the detention basin nearby. The city has called it one of its best views of any local trail, looking out over town to the mountains beyond.
Coal Creek Trail, ~10 min
Cedar City's paved trail follows the creek across town from downtown, a straightforward drive north on Main once you are off the south end.
Iron Hills Trail System, ~10 min
The south bench trail network, including the climb to the white "C," adds dirt singletrack a short drive from the south end.
Zion's Kolob Canyons, ~25 min
South on I-15 from the Cross Hollow Road interchange, the Kolob Canyons entrance of Zion National Park is a genuine day-trip option.
Farther out, Cedar Breaks National Monument and Brian Head's ski runs sit up State Route 14 and through Parowan, a seasonal drive of about 35 to 40 minutes once the high road is open for the year.
Trail details come from Cedar City's official trails page. The wider outdoor picture, Cedar Breaks and Brian Head included, is in the Cedar City guide.
Errands & drive times
The south-side errand loop is the daily advantage.
The honest answer to how far everything is, measured from near Cody Drive. The south-side cluster handles the daily errands, and the rest of town is a short drive north.
| The errand | Where it happens | From Cody Drive |
|---|---|---|
| Hardware and home improvement | The Home Depot, Providence Center | ~4 min |
| Full grocery run | Walmart Supercenter, 1330 S Providence Center Dr | ~5 min |
| Freeway on-ramp | Interstate 15 at Exit 57, Cross Hollow Rd | ~3 min |
| Events | Cross Hollow Arenas event center | ~4 min |
| Second grocery option | Lin's Fresh Market, 150 N Main Street | ~8 min |
| Campus and downtown | Southern Utah University, historic Main Street | ~9 min |
| Healthcare | Cedar City Hospital, 1303 N Main Street | ~11 min |
| Flights | Cedar City Regional Airport (CDC) | ~13 min |
Farther out, the south interchange puts St. George about 50 minutes down I-15 and Brian Head about 40 minutes the other way via Parowan. The full day-trip map lives in the Cedar City guide.
Schools & education
Schools, by the facts.
Cross Hollow is part of the Iron County School District. Cedar City's south end sits closest to South Elementary (grades K-5), then generally into the Cedar Middle School and Cedar High School zone that serves the south and central parts of town. The district is redrawing several elementary boundaries for the 2026-27 school year and its middle and high school boundaries for 2027-28, so confirm the current assignment for any unit you are serious about directly with the district by address rather than assuming from the map.
For independent school information, GreatSchools and Niche both publish data you can weigh for yourself, and Southern Utah University is about nine minutes north.
Buyer unit checks
Small details can change the comparison.
Attached homes reward a careful read of the documents, and a builder-run project adds a second layer: units here can be an end unit or a middle unit, move-in-ready or still under construction, and one plan can carry a taller primary bedroom ceiling than another. None of that shows up in a headline price.
So before I compare one Cross Hollow unit to another, or to anything else on the south end, I confirm the exact street address is Cody Drive and not the unrelated Cross Hollow Hills acreage community, then read the recorded documents for how exterior upkeep, insurance, parking, and any pet or rental rules are handled.
What I check before I call a unit priced right
- End unit versus middle unit, and whether the specific plan carries the taller primary bedroom ceiling.
- Completion stage: move-in-ready and still-under-construction units price differently even in the same project.
- The recorded documents on exterior upkeep, insurance, parking, and any pet or rental rules.
- The street on the listing. Cody Drive is Townhomes at Cross Hollow; Cross Hollow Hills, across town, is not.
What locals know
Notes from the south end.
No listing photo tells you this part. After more than 20 years in Southern Utah, here is what I would tell a friend looking at these.
-
Two Cross Hollows, one town. Cross Hollow Hills acreage sits on the other side of Cedar City near Westview Drive. Attached homes on Cody Drive price on their own sales, so I keep the two searches apart.
-
Read the documents. With attached homes, how exterior upkeep, insurance, parking, and pet or rental rules are handled can matter as much as the finishes.
-
One builder, so ask what changed. Wilcock Real Estate has built this run over time, and plans and finishes have moved unit to unit. Ask which version you are actually buying.
-
The south side is the convenience. Providence Center and the Exit 57 interchange are the daily payoff. I still map the exact route from the specific unit.

It sits on Cody Drive on Cedar City's south end, in the Cross Hollow Road corridor less than two miles from the Providence Center shopping and a short run to the Cross Hollow Road interchange on I-15.
No. Cross Hollow Hills is a separate acreage community on the southwest side of town near Westview Drive. These are attached townhomes on Cody Drive, a different product in a different pocket, so I keep the searches and the pricing separate.
Newer three-bedroom, 2.5-bath units of about 1,776 to 1,810 square feet from Wilcock Real Estate, with a 2-car garage, nine-foot ceilings on both floors, and finishes like quartz counters and luxury vinyl plank. I confirm the exact plan and unit against the documents before relying on any spec.
The plan and the paperwork. Confirm the floor plan and completion stage, the garage and parking, what is included, and how exterior upkeep, insurance, and any pet or rental rules are handled in the recorded documents.

Selling here
Townhomes move with the unit: size, garage, completion stage, condition, where it sits in the project, and the documents. Automated estimates miss that, so start with the home valuation page and I will run a real comparison against true south-end townhome sales, no obligation.
List with me and your home is featured across MovingUtah, on this page, on the Cedar City hub, and in the featured listings buyers browse on this site. The get featured page walks through exactly how that works.
I confirm the Cross Hollow townhome label on Cody Drive, then compare true attached-home sales on the south end, adjusting for size, garage, completion, condition, and what is included, never the acreage community that shares the Cross Hollow name.
Yes, and timing the two is mostly a sequencing problem. I cover the playbook in the buy and sell at once guide, and because I am dual-licensed I can keep the sale, the search, and the financing on one desk.

Recent resale activity has landed in the $300,000s for a completed unit, and because these attached homes price differently than the acreage community sharing the Cross Hollow name, I compare against true south-end townhome sales.
