Where in Utah does it hardly snow? Skip the snow.

Snow is not the same in every Utah town. Some towns see it rarely. Others see it most of the winter. Use it to see which towns get less snow.

How the snow match works.

The finder uses NOAA 30-year averages and puts each town at one of five snow levels. The five levels run from "Snow is rare here." to "Lots of snow most winters."

With those starting answers, towns with rare or light snow make the list. Towns with more snow do not, unless they fit your other answers.

The page also starts with any heat is fine, so summer heat does not sort the list. You can pick a heat limit if you want one. A town over your limit falls lower the hotter it gets.

Towns that sit lower tend to get less snow and hotter summers. Each card shows the snow level, the July highs, the January lows, and the elevation. The list sorts by snow, not by how cold it gets. A dry town can still have cold winter nights, so check the January lows on each card.

With the starting answers, when two towns fit the same, the one with less snow comes first.

Add what else matters.

Towns with little snow are also the hot ones in summer. Pick a July heat limit if that matters to you. You can also say how often you fly, since some of these towns are a long way from a big airport.
