City Finder for acreage
Where in Utah can you get some land? Find your land.
Land is already picked. Add the kind of place you want. The finder shows Utah towns that have a page for homes on acreage or horse property, with a link to that page.
Room to spread out is not the same in every part of Utah. A big lot in one town may be a small yard in the next. Use it to see which towns have pages for acreage or horse property.
How the land match works.
The land answer looks for a page on this site. A town scores full marks when it has a page for homes on acreage, or a page for horse property. A page for RV garages does not count.
This page starts with a small town and the country picked as the kind of place. You can change those answers. With the starting answers, a town with no land page does not make the list. It can still show up if you add answers it fits. A town with no land page here can still have land for sale. To see country towns too, set the land question to No preference.
When two towns fit the same, and no other answer sets them apart, the town names decide, from A to Z.
Add what else matters.
Land often costs more near a big city. Add a budget to see which land towns it reaches. Add a drive to work too, if you need one. Skip any question you do not care about.
Before you fall for a town.
Lot size, zoning, and animal rules differ by town and by parcel. Check with the city before you buy. On a town's card, tap Homes on acreage or Horse property to see what is for sale there today. Then tap About and The Local to learn what daily life there is like. For more, read the guides to buying land in Utah and to zoning for horses and livestock. If you want to talk it through, I am glad to help.

Why it made your list
Quick facts

The finder sorts towns by the answers you give. It is a place to start, not advice. Drive times are typical, and prices change.
Weather comes from NOAA 30-year averages, 1991 to 2020. Income and home values come from the Census, ACS 2020 to 2024. Drive times are typical drives outside rush hour.
