It blends single-family neighborhoods with golf-view condominiums across several phases, set in the black-lava and red-rock terrain that defines this side of the valley.

Life in Stonebridge
What a day on this side of town looks like.
Stonebridge wakes up around the golf course. The Sunbrook fairways and their black-lava edges run right through the development, so a morning here often starts with a walk on the cart paths or a few minutes down to the Santa Clara River Trail, which follows the river between Tonaquint Park and Cottonwood Cove. The terrain is the real St. George west side: red rock, lava fields, and river bottom rather than flat desert.
Errands stay close. Sunset Plaza sits right where Dixie Drive meets Sunset Boulevard, so a full grocery store and the daily stops are a couple of minutes out of the neighborhood, and the wider Sunset and Green Valley shopping is just up the road. Interstate 15 is a short hop east at the Bluff Street interchange.
What makes Stonebridge unusual is how many ways you can live in it. A lock-and-leave golf condo, an early-2000s single-family home, and a newer move-up house all sit under the same name, minutes from Snow Canyon and Tuacahn. It is a west-side golf community with real range.

Stonebridge is a planned development built around the City of St. George's Sunbrook Golf Club, not a single subdivision, and it spans several phases and product types. The four neighborhoods below are its main pieces. Stonebridge also includes the smaller Monterey enclave, and phases have been added over time, so when you shop here it pays to compare by sub-community and product type rather than by the Stonebridge name alone.
Neighborhood 01
Huntington at Stonebridge
Huntington is one of the earlier single-family pockets in Stonebridge, with most homes built in the early 2000s. It is a compact neighborhood of roughly a dozen homes on smaller lots, the kind of single-family footprint that gives you a house and a yard without a lot of ground to keep.
It sits within easy reach of the Sunbrook fairways and the Dixie Drive shopping at the edge of the development.
Neighborhood 02
Twin Creeks at Stonebridge
Twin Creeks is the newest of the Stonebridge neighborhoods, built mostly through the 2010s. The homes are larger here, frequently over 2,500 square feet on roughly quarter-acre lots, which makes it the move-up single-family address within the development.
Its newer construction and bigger floor plans put it at the higher end of the community's price range.
Neighborhood 03
Blackrock Condos at Stonebridge
Blackrock is Stonebridge's golf-view condominium community, built from the early 2000s in one-, two-, and three-story buildings. Units run roughly 1,150 to 1,500 square feet, two or three bedrooms, most with a garage, and many face north toward the Sunbrook course. The name comes from Sunbrook's Black Rock nine, which threads the lava fields right alongside.
It is the lock-and-leave end of Stonebridge: a golf setting without the yard work.
Neighborhood 04
Sienna Park at Stonebridge
Sienna Park is a second condominium community inside Stonebridge, built in multiple phases with golf-course views and walking access to Sunbrook from Country Lane. Like Blackrock, it offers attached, lower-maintenance living in the same golf setting.
Between Blackrock and Sienna Park, Stonebridge carries a real condo market alongside its single-family streets, which is part of why the same community name spans such different price points.

Homes & lots
Condo or single-family, same golf course.
Stonebridge resists a single description because it was built in phases and in two very different product types. The condos in Blackrock and Sienna Park, from the early 2000s, sit at the lower-maintenance, more attainable end. The single-family homes range from the compact early-2000s Huntington houses to the larger Twin Creeks builds of the 2010s on roughly quarter-acre lots. Most of Stonebridge is resale rather than new construction, all of it in the lava-field and red-rock terrain that wraps the Sunbrook course.
Two things shape value here. First, product type: a golf-view condo and a Twin Creeks single-family home are not the same market even though they share the Stonebridge name. Second, the west-side setting: this corner of St. George sits along the Santa Clara River, which has flood history, so on a river-adjacent parcel a quick FEMA flood-zone check is simply smart due diligence. Tell me the product type and the part of the course that matter to you, and I will narrow it fast.

Sunbrook Golf Club
The 27-hole public course the development wraps, owned by the City of St. George and opened in 1988. Its three nines, The Pointe, Woodbridge, and Black Rock, weave through lava fields and along the Santa Clara River.
Santa Clara River Trail
A paved riverside path looping between Tonaquint Park and Cottonwood Cove Park, with the Thunder Junction All-Abilities Playground at the south end. Trailhead parking is at Tonaquint Park on Dixie Drive.
Tonaquint Nature Center
Ponds, gardens, and an easy nature walk at 1851 S Dixie Drive, just down the corridor from Stonebridge. A quiet green stop on the same west-side river system.
Lava and red-rock terrain
Stonebridge sits in genuine lava-field and red-rock country, not flat desert. The black basalt that gives the Black Rock nine its name runs right through the neighborhood's edges.
Snow Canyon & Tuacahn
The west side is close to both: Snow Canyon State Park is roughly 10 to 15 minutes away, and the Tuacahn Amphitheatre in Ivins is about 17 minutes for outdoor concerts and Broadway-style shows.
The Santa Clara River corridor
The river gives the west side open space and trail access, and it carries real flood history. On river-adjacent parcels it is a reason to confirm the FEMA flood zone before you buy, which I will always flag.

Schools, by the facts.
Stonebridge is served by the Washington County School District, and assignments here vary by sub-community because the development sits near a district boundary. Some Stonebridge addresses feed the Snow Canyon schools and others the Dixie schools, so confirm the current assignment for your exact address with the district's boundary tool. For independent school information, GreatSchools and Niche both publish data you can weigh for yourself. Utah Tech University is a short drive across town.

No listing photo tells you this part. After more than 20 years in Southern Utah, here is what I would tell a friend looking at Stonebridge.

There is no Stonebridge golf course. The community wraps the City-owned Sunbrook Golf Club. The "Stonebridge Golf Club" you may find online is a different course in northern Utah, so do not let the name confuse you.

One name, two markets. Blackrock and Sienna Park are golf-view condos; Huntington and Twin Creeks are single-family. They trade at very different prices, so "what does Stonebridge cost" depends entirely on which part you mean.

The river is the west side's footnote. Stonebridge sits along the Santa Clara River, which flooded badly in 2005. The corridor is a real amenity, and on river-adjacent parcels a FEMA flood-zone check is just smart due diligence.
