Coventry Lane's four phases finished by 2009 and its W Stonebridge Drive address sits between two golf courses, a combination that keeps demand permanently warm. My Washington County MLS reading covers the pocket daily; claim the next unit in advance and it debuts to you rather than the crowd.

Life here
A day in the Stonebridge area.
Coventry Lane runs off W Stonebridge Drive, tucked into the Stonebridge area on the west side of St. George just above South Dixie Drive. It is a compact run of attached townhomes rather than a sprawling subdivision, so the scale here is neighborly by design. Public records tie all of it to W Stonebridge Drive, and the recorded plats show it filled in over four phases through the 2000s.
Your errands pull you out to South Dixie Drive and then up to the Sunset Boulevard corridor, which is where the everyday shopping lives on this side of town. A grocery run and the freeway on-ramp at the Dixie Drive interchange are both short hops, and the drive stays on the west side. You are not crossing the whole valley for the basics.
The golf is the quiet draw. Southgate Golf Course on Tonaquint Drive and Sunbrook Golf Course off South Dixie Drive are both minutes away, and the Tonaquint Nature Center sits down along the Santa Clara River nearby. For a townhome buyer who wants to lock the door and still be five minutes from a tee time, this corner of the Stonebridge area does a lot of quiet work.
Stonebridge highlights
Why this west-side corner has its own logic.
A handful of specific things set this pocket apart, and each one is a named place you can point to on a map.
Southgate golf, minutes away
Southgate Golf Course, the city-owned par-70 layout at 1975 S Tonaquint Drive, is a short drive from Coventry Lane. Not every townhome pocket sits this close to a public course.
The Dixie Drive interchange, close by
The newer I-15 interchange at Dixie Drive puts the freeway a short drive out, so a trip north or south starts on the west side instead of routing you through downtown.
Attached townhomes, one product
Unlike the mixed St. George areas, Coventry Lane is a single product: attached townhomes built through the 2000s. That keeps the comps clean when it is time to price a unit.
Tonaquint Nature Center nearby
Down along the Santa Clara River, the Tonaquint Nature Center offers ponds, cattails, and wildlife just west of Southgate Golf Course, a quiet outdoor stop close to home.
The Sunset Boulevard corridor
West-side shopping runs along Sunset Boulevard and Bluff Street, including the Sunset Plaza with Albertsons, so the weekly grocery and pharmacy runs stay on this side of town.
Townhome company on all sides
Vista Del Sol, Springfield, Paradise Cove, and West Springs townhomes all sit within a few blocks, so this is a settled attached-home part of the Stonebridge area, not an outlier.
Homes & lots
Attached living, west-side access.
Coventry Lane Townhomes went in through the 2000s, with Washington County recording the plat in four phases dated between 2001 and 2005. The product is attached townhomes on small, townhome-scale lots that public records list at roughly 0.08 acre. You are not maintaining a quarter-acre yard here, and for most buyers who choose this pocket, that is the whole point.
The build era puts these homes in a settled spot: old enough that the landscaping has matured and the streets are quiet, but young enough that the floor plans reflect early-2000s tastes, with open living areas and attached garages. Recent sold samples in the community have run near 1,973 square feet, though condition varies unit to unit after two decades of ownership, as it always does.
From what I see in the MLS, inventory here runs thin, and a small townhome community can go quiet for stretches. When a unit does list, the questions are usually condition, updates, and which run of the community it sits in, not location. Everyone shopping this side of St. George already knows the location works.
In a small townhome pool, the right three comparable sales matter more than any neighborhood average.
Trails & outdoors
River bottom and red rock, close by.
The nearest outdoor asset for Coventry Lane is the Tonaquint corridor along the Santa Clara River, and from there the rest of St. George's outdoor menu is a short drive. Here is the honest tiering, from close-to-home to weekend.
Tonaquint Nature Center
Just west of Southgate Golf Course on the Santa Clara River, with ponds, cattails, and wildlife like red-tail hawks. An easy, close-to-home outdoor stop.
Santa Clara River paved trail
The city's paved river trail follows the Santa Clara and Virgin River corridors, tying the west side into St. George's larger multi-use path network for walking and cycling.
Snow Canyon State Park, ~15 min
Northwest up the Bluff Street and Snow Canyon Parkway corridor, Snow Canyon opens lava tubes, red and white Navajo sandstone, and desert hiking.
Pioneer Park & the Dixie Rock
Above downtown, Pioneer Park serves up red-rock scrambling, arches, and city views. A short drive across town for a quick evening out.
Outdoor details come from the City of St. George parks and golf pages and Utah State Parks. The wider outdoor picture, Zion included, is in the St. George guide.
Errands & drive times
Errands, measured in minutes.
This is the practical answer to how far everything is from this pocket. The short version: W Stonebridge Drive feeds onto South Dixie Drive, so golf, groceries, and the freeway are all single-digit minutes, while the hospital and airport sit across town on the east and southeast sides. Times are measured from W Stonebridge Drive and kept conservative.
| The errand | Where it happens | From W Stonebridge Dr |
|---|---|---|
| Full grocery run | Albertsons, Sunset Plaza on W Sunset Blvd | ~6 min |
| Golf | Southgate Golf Course, 1975 S Tonaquint Dr | ~5 min |
| More golf | Sunbrook Golf Course, 2366 W Sunbrook Dr | ~7 min |
| Freeway on-ramp | Interstate 15 at the Dixie Drive interchange | ~6 min |
| River-bottom outdoors | Tonaquint Nature Center, Santa Clara River | ~6 min |
| Dinner out | Ancestor Square, downtown St. George | ~10 min |
| Healthcare | St. George Regional Hospital, 1380 E Medical Center Dr | ~13 min |
| Flights | St. George Regional Airport (SGU) | ~15 min |
Farther out, you are roughly 40 minutes from Zion National Park, about an hour from Cedar City, and close to two hours from Las Vegas. The full day-trip map lives in the St. George guide.
Schools & education
Schools, by the facts.
Coventry Lane Townhomes is part of the Washington County School District. Public real estate records for this pocket report the assignment as Arrowhead Elementary (grades K-5) in Santa Clara, then, following the district's four-tier structure, a Washington County intermediate school (grades 6-7), Dixie Middle School (grades 8-9), and Dixie High School (grades 10-12) in St. George. Grade bands and boundaries can shift as the west side grows, so confirm the current assignment for any home you are serious about directly with the district rather than a listing site.
For independent school information, GreatSchools and Niche both publish data you can weigh for yourself. Utah Tech University sits on the east side of St. George, roughly a cross-town drive from this part of the Stonebridge area.
I cover the bigger education picture, including Utah Tech University, in the St. George guide.
The golf corner
Two city courses within a few minutes.
The thing that makes this pocket its own place, and not just another townhome run, is where it sits: between two City of St. George golf courses on the west side. That is unusual even for a golf-heavy town. Both courses are public and city-owned, so you are not buying a country-club membership to play a few minutes from your front door.
Southgate Golf Course, the par-70 layout at 1975 S Tonaquint Drive that dates to 1970, is the closer of the two, and it plays through the river-bottom flats along the Santa Clara. Sunbrook Golf Course, off South Dixie Drive at 2366 W Sunbrook Drive, is the bigger draw: 27 holes across three nines, the Pointe, Woodbridge, and Blackrock, with holes carved through the west-side foothills and lava. For a townhome buyer who wants low upkeep and easy tee times, having both within a short drive is the quiet reason this corner holds its value.
Southgate Golf Course
City-owned par-70 at 1975 S Tonaquint Drive, built in 1970. The nearest course to Coventry Lane, playing through the Santa Clara river bottom.
Sunbrook Golf Course
City-owned 27 holes at 2366 W Sunbrook Drive, three nines named the Pointe, Woodbridge, and Blackrock, accessible off South Dixie Drive.
Course facts come from the City of St. George golf pages. The full St. George golf picture is in the St. George guide.
What locals know
Notes from the west side.
After showing homes across St. George for two decades, here is what I would tell a friend about this pocket of the Stonebridge area.
-
South Dixie Drive is your on-ramp to everything. W Stonebridge Drive feeds right onto it, and from there you can reach the Dixie Drive freeway interchange, Sunset Boulevard shopping, and both golf courses without touching downtown.
-
It is a lock-and-leave setup. Attached townhomes on small lots mean you can shut the door and head north for the summer without a yard crew on speed dial, which is why this stretch draws part-time and low-maintenance owners.
-
The small pool cuts both ways. Coventry Lane is a compact community, so units can sit unlisted for stretches and then move quickly. If you want in, it pays to be pre-approved and watching the day a unit hits the market.
-
You are in a townhome cluster, not on an island. Vista Del Sol, Springfield, Paradise Cove, and West Springs townhomes sit within a few blocks, so I read Coventry Lane against its immediate attached-home neighbors, not against detached homes across the valley.

Southgate Golf Course on Tonaquint Drive and Sunbrook Golf Course are both close, and the Sunset Boulevard shopping corridor and I-15 at the Dixie Drive interchange are a short drive out.
Attached townhomes built almost entirely between 2000 and 2009, on small townhome-scale lots that public records list at roughly 0.08 acre. Recent sold samples have run near 1,973 square feet with attached garages. The product is low-maintenance attached living rather than detached homes on their own yards.
Yes. Southgate Golf Course, the city-owned par-70 layout at 1975 S Tonaquint Drive, is only a few minutes away, and Sunbrook Golf Course at 2366 W Sunbrook Drive is a short drive further along South Dixie Drive. Both are public City of St. George courses.
As attached townhomes from the 2000s, pricing tends to land below the St. George detached median, though the exact figure moves with condition and the market. Rather than quote a number that ages fast, treat the live listings on this page as your real-time starting point and confirm the current range with me.
